Development of ConExp2 started

The Concept Explorer (ConExp) is a well-known tool for Formal Concept Analysis which supports the manipulation of formal contexts as well as the analysis and visualization of concept lattices.

What started as a project to extend ConExp with vector graphics export has now become a project for a modern reimplementation of ConExp: Three enthusiastic M.Sc. students at Leibniz University Hannover started the ConExp2 project on GitHub (currently a private project). Besides the long-awaited vector graphics export, ConExp2 will include extended import and export facilities (including support for ConExp’s file format), will be based on FCAlib, and will use modern software development frameworks whenever possible (e.g., Maven 2). “ConExp2” will be the working title for the new tool until we have found an official name and until the project was assessed. Since then, the GitHub project will remain private. If you are interested in participation or have a suggestion for a good name, feel free to contact me at .
