ESLP - Embodied and Situated Language Processing Conference

ESLP is concerned with multi-modal interactions during online language processing. It embraces different research methods - among them behavioural, neuropsychological, and computational approaches that have provided converging evidence for the existence and incremental nature of such interaction. It provides a forum for interdisciplinary discussion between scientists that have examined the interaction of language and visual/motor processing in embodied and situated settings.

2024 ESLP: ESLP 2024 – Call for Abstracts. The Brain Language Laboratory (BLL) is pleased to announce the Embodied and Situated Language Processing 2024 (ESLP 2024), organised by Fynn Dobler, Laura Ciaccio, Luigi Grisoni, Verena Arndt, Konstantinos Kosmas, and Friedemann Pulvermüller. ESLP 2024 will take place from 3 to 5 October 2024 at the Freie Universität Berlin (FU Berlin). For submissions, see www.conftool.net/eslp2024. For any questions about ESLP 2024 please email admin@brainlang.fu-berlin.de.

- ESLP 2021 was organised digitally by Claudia Gianelli, Sara lo Presti, Carlotta Maiocchi, Ghata Arya, Katharina Kühne, and Elena Kulkova.
2019 ESLP Conference: ESLP meets Attlis
- ESLP 2019 took place in Berlin, Germany, together with Attlis (“The Attentive Listener in the Visual World”). Conference dates: August 28-30, 2019. Venue: Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.
