Research interests

I am interested in the interplay between mathematics and physics, in particular in quantum mechanics. My research focuses on the role of

• (Quantum) integrability and quantum groups
• Representation theory
• Special functions, in particular elliptic functions

in various (mostly) quantum mechanical settings, such as

• Spin chains, in particular those with interactions that go beyond nearest-neighbour.
• The AdS/CFT correspondence, in particular the spectral problem, deformations and correlation functions of maximally supersymmetric Yang-Mills theory
• Calogero-Sutherland and Ruijsenaars-Schneider models as well as related quantum many-body problems.
