Rubik's Type Puzzles

Odds and Ends

Rubik's Triamid
Rubik's Triamid [eBay]
The Triamid consists of ten pieces and four connectors. It is rather easy to solve when taking it completely apart and putting it back together. All you have to do is find the corner pieces (they are the ones with three colors instead of one) and put the pyramid together accordingly. However, the actual aim is to plug off a pyramid consisting of four pieces and alter its orientation. One is to solve the puzzle by doing so with one small pyramid at a time. It can then be solved similar to the Pyraminx.

Rubik's Dice
Rubik's Dice [eBay]
Inside the dice are plates which are white with red dots. They can be moved by tilting the cube. The aim is to have all the spots of the dice, which are wholes, show white. On both Rob's and Jaap's Puzzle Pages this is classified as a Pattern puzzle.

Rubik's Clock
Rubik's Clock [both eBay]
I remembered the Clock from my childhood. It wasn't mine, but I was able to solve it without help. Thus it was the first puzzle I wanted for my collection, and the easiest and fastest way was eBay. The second Clock was part of a package I purchased at another eBay auction.
The Rubik's Clock has two sides which have to be solved simultaniously: All the clocks are supposed to show twelve o'clock.

Spin-Out
Spin-Out by Think Fun [toy store, 4,90 €, fall 2007]
Spin-Out by Binary Arts [flea market, 1,00 €, July 2008]
The seven disks are to be turned sideways to remove the slide from the case. There is only one place for the disks to turn.

Chinese Rings
Chinese Rings [Oxfam, 2 €, August 2008]
This is solved with the same trick as Spin-Out.

Rubik's Rabbits
Rubik's Rabbits, sometimes Rubik's Hat [flea market, 2 €, November 2007]
This puzzle might be considered a Pattern Matching Puzzle, but it's also a Twisty Puzzle, which is why I placed it here.
The top hat consists of six discs which can be rotated. They are devided into nine segments each. When looking through the hat you may, depending on the position of the discs, see some rabbits. The aim is to let all nine rabbits appear.

Brainstring
Brainstring by RecentToys [birthday 2007]
The knobs are to be moved so that two (three, four) of the same color show up on each face of the cube - without creating a knot. Or one can produce symmetrical knots. This puzzle could also be listed in the Disentanglement section.
