I am a PhD student and scientific assistant at the Institut fur Mathematik of Humboldt Universitaet zu Berlin, under the supervision of Juerg Kramer. My area of research is arithmetic algebraic geometry, particularly the study of compactifications of the moduli space of principally polarized abelian varieties over the integers. I am also interested in the theory of resolution of singularities, both in the classical setting over the complex numbers and over more general rings.
I am a member of the Berlin Mathematical School. I was previously a master student at FU Berlin, and an undergraduate student at Universidad de Guanajuato, in a program heavily supported by CIMAT. I wrote my bachelor thesis at IMUNAM in Oaxaca.
