My dissertation on the ideas of just war (jus ad bellum) at German universities in the 17th Century is now under formal examination at the Faculty of Law at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.
The Norwegian translation of Wilhelm von Humboldt’s Ideen zu einem Versuch, die Grenzen der Wirksamkeit des Staats zu bestimmen (English title: The Limits of State Action), together with accompanying texts, is finished and will be published soon by Oslo Academic Press (Unipub).
My main academic interests: History and Philosophy of Law and Political Ideas, Constitutional Law, Property Law, Public Law, Criminal Law.
